EYHA Receives Donation from FOP!
FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE 73
Donates $600 to Evansville Youth Hockey Association
(Evansville, IN – November 11, 2011) – Evansville Youth Hockey Association (EYHA) is proud to announce they have received a donation from the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 73 that will be used to purchase new hockey helmets.
Craig MacDonald, Hockey Director of EYHA, says, “We are extremely excited to receive this generous donation from the FOP that will be used to purchase brand new hockey helmets. This donation comes at a great time, EYHA continues to grow our membership as kids and adults alike become attracted to the ‘coolest game on Earth.’ These helmets will be put to use immediately in our Grow the Game efforts and our Equipment Rental program, which helps to keep the cost of playing hockey very manageable for our families.”
DJ Thompson, FOP President, says, “The FOP is happy to contribute to the overall safety of the children playing hockey with EYHA by ensuring those new to the sport are using top of the line protective equipment.”
