Hockey 101

This is a 6-week course focusing on the fundamentals of ice hockey.

Ages

This beginner course is open to all ages.

When

Hockey 101 is typically held from late March through early May.

Where

Practices are held at Swonder.

Practices

Participants practice once per week for an hour.

Gear

Hockey gear can be borrowed from the EYHA, granted it is available.

Jerseys

Practice jerseys are not provided.

Hockey 101 2026

Hockey 101 is the first step to learning and improving your hockey skills. We will work on skating, puck control, and hockey maneuvers to help players move to the next level.
