Thunder Travel Hockey
This program offers the competitive hockey player an opportunity to play with and against the best competition from the area and often the country. We have tryouts for player selection, a heavy travel schedule, and a more expensive fee. Details for each group of Thunder travel hockey can be found in the chart below.
Ages
Appropriate players aged 10U through High School who have completed at least one year of Learn-to-Play.
When
Tryouts are held in May. Practices begin in September and the season runs through the beginning of March.
Where
Practices and home games are held at Swonder Ice Arena. Games may be played across the Midwest.
Practices
Teams practice 2-3 times per week.
Games
Games usually occur on the weekends.
Jerseys
Thunder jerseys are required. Jersey orders take place during team registrations. Each player must have a black Thunder jersey, white Thunder jersey, white Thunder socks, blacks Thunder socks and pant shells.
